What is the Purpose of a Presentation?

The primary purpose of a 1 Million Cups presentation is **not** to sell your product or service. Instead, it’s an opportunity to share your business's story with a supportive community. The goal is to receive constructive feedback that you can use to identify challenges, overcome obstacles, and ultimately improve your business.

Who is the Audience?

Your audience is the local entrepreneurial community. This includes fellow founders, mentors, investors, and interested community members. Crafting a Great Presentation

A standard presentation is **6-10 minutes** long, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session. Please note, if things go too long, you may be cut off. To ensure your presentation goes smoothly, please arrive at the event space around **8:45 AM** to check tech and get set up. This gives you time to test your presentation, connect your laptop, and make sure everything is working properly before the event begins.

Our team will be there to help you with any technical setup and answer any last-minute questions. Taking a few minutes to prepare beforehand will help you feel confident and ready to deliver your best presentation.
